    The One Year Chronological Bible NLT (One Year Bible: Nlt)
    Tyndale House Publishers

    Join with me this year as we read the Bible in chronological order.  This is not a book-by-book reading of the Bible, but instead follows the events in the Bible as they happened in history.

    You may also want to visit Wendy Pope's blog with me.  She will be holding discussions each day about the material.  I'll see you there.

  • Peace on Earth

  • Authentic Parenting in a Postmodern Culture: Practical Help for Shaping Your Children's Hearts, Minds, and Souls
    Authentic Parenting in a Postmodern Culture: Practical Help for Shaping Your Children's Hearts, Minds, and Souls
    by Mary E. DeMuth

    If like me, you are struggling to sort out parenting in the modern culture, this book is for you. I have gained greater understanding of how to Biblically parent in a world that is so different than the one in which I grew up. Challenging material, but oh so good!

It's a Grace Day

Thank you to all my friends in Blogland for extending grace to me today. I am exhausted and need some rest. I will happily return with a new post on Wednesday.

In the mean time, let's rest securely in these words of Psalm 121.

I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?

My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;

indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;

the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;

the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

remember the "grace, grace, grace" with cute little actions that you used at VBS several years ago? I have been substituting at the boys school and they just love it when I do that (little do they know how badly I need it) and don't we all! Grace upon you today. :)
