The One Year Chronological Bible NLT (One Year Bible: Nlt)
    Tyndale House Publishers

Join with me this year as we read the Bible in chronological order.  This is not a book-by-book reading of the Bible, but instead follows the events in the Bible as they happened in history.

You may also want to visit Wendy Pope's blog with me.  She will be holding discussions each day about the material.  I'll see you there.

  • Peace on Earth

  • Authentic Parenting in a Postmodern Culture: Practical Help for Shaping Your Children's Hearts, Minds, and Souls
Authentic Parenting in a Postmodern Culture: Practical Help for Shaping Your Children's Hearts, Minds, and Souls
    by Mary E. DeMuth

If like me, you are struggling to sort out parenting in the modern culture, this book is for you. I have gained greater understanding of how to Biblically parent in a world that is so different than the one in which I grew up. Challenging material, but oh so good!

He Is!!!!

If you sat in my car today, checked my computer, or heard me singing, this is the song you would hear. And if you saw me listening to it, you would see me with hands lifted up, praising our amazing God.

Turn up your volume. The message is so powerful. Thank you Mark Schultz for recording this amazing worship song.

I pray you find it as worship-filled as I do! I would love to hear what you think!

Where do you come across your music? Radio? TV? I don't know where to go to be exposed to these kinds of songs. Thanks for sharing.

To answer Leisa's question - You can find contemporary Christian music in lots of places.

Here in St. Louis, I listen to JOYFM on 94.1 and 97.7. As I stated in an earlier post, they will be increasing their listening area in the Spring to include all of St. Louis by moving to 99.1. You can also listen to them 24/7 on the internet at www.joyfmonline.org. Just click on "Listen Now."

As I move to the Illinois side, I listen to 91.1 FM, WIBI. They also play a great assortment of contemporary Christian music.

If you still need ideas, I would be happy to list specific artists, too. You can check them out on Amazon.com and listen to snippets to see if you like them. Just let me know!

Hope this helps.
